This Cabernet is full-bodied and flavorful. Deep purple in color, it has lifted aromatics of Bing cherries and mulberries, flavors of blackberries with a touch of mocha, and a finish with soft, polished tannins. Although this wine will improve for 4 to 5 years, it can be enjoyed now.
|
Composed of 60% Castelao and 40% Syrah, Adega de Pegoes is a deep, dark red, with notes of plum, blackberry, pepper, chocolate, and baking spice.

Produced in cooperation with Domaine des Ouleb Thaleb, this Syrah is vinified from the fruit of young vineyards that have been plowed and weeded by hand. While this is a fruit-forward red, it is made in an Old-World style with moderate extraction, excellent balance, and complex aromatics.

This wine exhibits an elegance rarely encountered in the wines from Campo de Borja. It is immediately aromatic, full and friendly on the palate and finishes with a refined length.

This light, refreshing wine, composed of 75% Gargenega and 25% Trebbiano di Soave, displays crisp, clean notes of green apple, ripe pear, and citrus fruit from start to finish. It is an excellent pairing for chicken, seafood, shellfish, and light pasta dishes.

87 Points / Value Wine - Wine Spectator
Though it originated in Italy, the Bonarda grape has flourished in Argentina, where it had become one of the dominant grape varieties. Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda is an excellent example of Argentine Bonarda: delightfully dense, dark, and ripe.
